Please note that the money used to purchase this album will go directly to us, the artists. Please support us directly by purchasing through our website at our chosen price and not the undercut value that amazon, Itunes and other outlets have set. Of course more is always welcome. Streaming platforms such as Spotify, Pandora, Youtube, etc are fabulous ways to listen and find out about artists, but are very unsupportive financially. Please support devotional art as you feel its' true value is. Thank you, Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda.
Thank you, Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda.
This album was inspired by a vision we had to take the listener on an imaginary boat ride down a sacred river in India. Along the way, we intend for the listener to experience the essence of the deities as each song unfolds. Just as dreams can turn into reality and reality into dreams, this album encourages the listener to lose one’s sense of “the norm” and enter into the transcendental plane. Join us on this unique artistic and devotional expression as we begin our journey.
'Sarasvati Dreams is a direct transmission of the heart-awakening and transformative power of yoga. Through music and chanting, Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda take us on a soulful pilgrimage to the holy temples of the gods and goddesses through mantra. Every song transports us and reminds us that we are the divine embodied here on earth. They help bring our voice and creative expression into the world for the benefit of All Beings." FROM ANANDA YOGIJI...
Thank you so much, first and foremost, to God/Goddess for this incredible life and all that has unfolded so magically. Thank you, Ganesh, for making this album possible. Thank you, Saraswati, for all the music that has come through us and been captured in this beautiful album. Thank you to my parents for all the love and unwavering support. Infinite pranams to all my teachers who have trained and guided me on the path of yoga in all its many forms. I am grateful each moment to be able to love the beloved goddess in my life, Jaya Lakshmi and her emanation of Sri Maha Lakshmi. She has opened so many unforeseen realms of love, bliss, and opportunities to share the love we have for the divine and each other. Jai Ma! To all the beautiful soul companions that have supported our way on this musical odyssey, I am so grateful. To Sounds True (Jennifer, Randy, Tucker, and the whole team) for your support and belief in the music we are creating together, thank you! Lastly, I am so grateful to be living and one with this mother Gaia—planet Earth—and all her beauty and splendor. May I never forget to honor and worship her and all her glory. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
FROM JAYA LAKSHMI...
Endless gratitude to the divine creator. To be able to create and share this music and enjoy this beautiful Earth and its creatures is such a gift. I am so grateful for my health, the divine soulmate relationship with my beloved Anandaji, my loving and supportive daughters, the folks at Sounds True for their inspiration and faith in our music, Hans for his patience and talent, for all our musician friends who shared their magic on this album, and for all our friends and fans who encourage and inspire us to keep it flowing. Thank you! I am profoundly grateful to all those who have brought yogic teachings and mantra to the West and continue to pave the way for them to become accessible for all beings. Love and prayers to my sweet mother. May the mantras and music on this album heal the hearts and minds of all.
